When a friend hand -makes, -packages and -delivers fresh macarons to you over lattes on a Sunday morning?

These photos were taken today at Small Point Café, and they capture exactly why I want to live inside of a coffee shop forever.
Tomorrow (Monday), James and I are heading somewhere special (a surprise from me to him so shhhh don’t tell him if you know) to celebrate five years together. Crazy, right?

Well, the weekend was actually a complete horror show in terms of eating. First, I ate pizza at the video-shoot on our lunch break and then I had macarons for breakfast, essentially. I had a headache all weekend and took two really long naps. Honestly, Pizza? Not worth it at all. Macarons: WORTH EVERYTHING

These photos were taken with my iPhone and edited with “VSCO cam” app… I guess there’s also a program for lightroom with the same filters.
When I’m not using this I am using a Cannon rebel XT that is about as old as your relationship haha

These pictures are great! I produced a radio tour for a professional photographer recently and his biggest tip was that most pictures can honestly be taken with an iPhone, no need for a super fancy camera. This is definitely evidence of that!

Macarons are so good that they’re essentially from another planet. They don’t even really factor in as human food. (This was the rationalization I used on myself the entire time we were in Paris, in which I convinced Matt we needed to try like 8 different places.) I’ve actually been missing them like crazy lately…perhaps your friend wants to experiment with some cross-country shipping?
