“ARE YOU SO EXCITED FOR PARIS!?!?” I ask James, knowing his enthusiasm won’t mirror mine. He responds in pure James-fashion, that tone that says I could never possibly care about anything as much as you do but I’ll play along because I love you enough, ”PUMPED!”
When asked the same question, his sister really does sound just like me. We sound like children, going on and on about where we’ll eat, what types of shoes we’ll wear, how many dresses we’ll bring.
In the spring of 2011, James’ sister and brother-in-law went to Paris, and a few weeks later, I went with my mom. Ever since, Sarah and I haven’t let The City of Light out of our minds. So while the boys watched the Superbowl last February, she and I booked a trip for four. We toasted and it seemed so far away.
Now, it’s not. Now it’s only a month away. A month from today, to be exact. Aside from my regular wardrobe, I needed these things for the trip:

I was in Paris a month ago for my honeymoon and my husband originally had no desire to go (he wanted to take me because it was my dream to go there.) We both had a blast and even he loveeeeddd it. I hope you guys have an amazing time!

I just returned from Paris on Sunday, taking my daughter for her first time at 11. It was amazing to see it through her eyes. This having been my second trip, I saw Paris in a whole new light, with youth and excitement.

Ahh! So jealous and love the outfit choices! My boyfriend and I went last summer and he too loved it FAR more than he thought he would. Such a lovely city, enjoy!!

What was your boyfriend’s favorite part?
He actually loved the eiffel tower (total shocker, honestly) and he LOVED the Musée de l’Armée, we spent hours there with him ogling all the armor.
