Paleo Oat-Free Oatmeal

Ingredients:

1 cup of dried banana chips (I got them at Trader Joes, you could dry bananas yourself which I did here for another recipe)
1/2 cup non dairy milk (coconut or almond)
handful of organic raisins
cinnamon
honey

Directions:

Place banana chips in food processor. Process until your bananas are roughly chopped, to keep that oat texture we’re looking for

Place in a bowl with raisins and cinnamon

Pour in milk, microwave for two minutes, top with honey and a little extra cinnamon and a couple raisins. Stir and enjoy!

I’m sure you could make this same recipe on the stove top but I haven’t tried it, let me know if you do!

    Delish!

I threw in a few walnuts and about 10 coco nibs (from Trader Joes)!

    Thanks for the idea!

Thanks for the tip. It’s more of a back up recipe for people who really, really, miss their oatmeal. It’s pretty sugary to begin with and I wouldn’t recommend it often. But you’re right, stove would be better.
