#ShowUsYourPaleo Week Two

Another week, another hundred instagram photos.

Remember when you were little (or 24 and bored at a restaurant with a kid’s menu) and you would have a list of things to find in a picture?

I Spy:

2 cats
1 cute puppy
1 awkward banana girl
hot pink eggs
2 cubicle lunches
6 photos with avocado in them
eggs on everything
caveman  cookies!?!?! what are these and why don’t I have them?

And my favorite photo this week:

“A little overdone but Atticus doesn’t seem to mind” from @christinaspanos

#ShowUsYourPaleo Week One

A week ago, I proposed, as a group, that all Paleo, iPhone/Droid using readers join me in sharing the ways they eat Paleo each day on Instagram.

I showed people, who had never heard of Instagram, exactly how to get instagram on their phone, how to use it, and ultimately, how to share photos of their Paleo creations with friends and strangers for inspiration. I was so impressed, as always, with the response.

In just one week, over 100 photos were uploaded using the hashtag #showusyourpaleo.

Here is my favorite photo from the week:

+ Homemade Kombucha from @danielleno812 +

Here are the rest!* You guys are amazing. Keep it coming….

Will you join us for the #showusyourpaleo party this week!

*If your Instagram profile is set to private, and I don’t follow you, I could not see your upload, which is why you might not see it here. Regardless, I still love that you’re following along and sharing with your friends! Thank you!!

#ShowUsYourPaleo Instagram Party

Step one: Head to your app store on your iPhone or Droid, download Instagram for free. If you already have Instagram, move to step two. The app looks like this:

Step two: Within your Instagram app, hit the button on the bottom in the far right corner. You’ll see the below menu. Choose the third option “Search Instagram”.

Step three: Choose “Names and usernames”.

Step four: Type in ‘Jentonelli’.

Step five: Click my name and hit the follow button.

Step six: By choosing the blue camera, choosing a photo from your album or taking a new photo, and then laying a fun filter over it, upload photos of your Paleo breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners. Upload photos of your Paleo food prep, of your sweet treats, of a new favorite ingredient you’ve found in the grocery store.

Step seven: In the caption of your photo, describe your photo. Then, tag me by writing @jentonelli. Then hashtag the post (this is for everyone taking part to see) with #showusyourpaleo.

Once you post this photo, the hashtag becomes a clickable link. By clicking it, you can see all the other photos and people who are taking part. (Whitney @whitcole , Megan @megan_flynn and Melissa @cupcakesomg, may be playing along too!)

Step eight: Every week, I’ll share all the photos where I’ve been tagged and the hashtag has been used!

Why? It’s a great way to stay accountable, to meet other people, to get ideas for feeding yourself and your family, and it helps me get to know my readers! It’s a great way to share fun photos if you don’t have a blog, or you don’t really think anyone else cares about the amazing grain-free, sugar-free, unprocessed meal you made. But I care! I think you’re awesome! I have found such an inspiring group of people through this blog, so why don’t you inspire each other? I’ll show you mine, if you show me yours…

If you do have a blog, feel free to spread the word and use the above image!
