I don’t think I was alone last night as I watched those five young olympic gymnasts take the gold for USA. Or this morning, when I listened to their interviews and had to wait to put on my mascara because I kept tearing up. The funny thing? I was way more emotional than any of those girls who are way younger than myself.
I’ve never seen such brave, confident, well-spoken, focused girls, or I have rather, but none of them have been eighteen.
If they didn’t inspire you to be stronger, faster, braver, more focused, more driven, more goal-oriented, I don’t know what will. Go get some today, people! I’ll be practicing my cartwheels.
